Please email for more information on our alligator statues and crocodile garden sculptures. Many are intrigued and wary of these monstrous creatures which are said to originate from the dinosaurs. Those who wonder about their strength, will know that the crocodiles and alligators are one of the fiercest animals known to this planet and should be avoided at all costs. Of the 23 species known to mankind, half of these animals are known to be dangerous to humankind. However, crocodiles and alligators are being hunted for their skin and are kept in crocodile farms where they are eventually harvested for the skin which are later used to make fine leather and other branded items for the shopping world. We must do our part to protect them. That's not to say that we should get close to them but rather, we should find a peaceful means of ensuring their continued survival on this planet. It is said that crocodiles strike out at humans for the primary reason of defending themelves. Sometimes, it is because they are hungry. At other times, they could strike because the humans are with domesticated animls which attract their attention. Crococdiles are certainly not animals that one can ignore. They make an impact wherever they are and they are cunning hunters. One of the fiercest crocodiles known is the Black Caiman which is found in northern Southern America and spans the areas of the Amazon Basin from Peru going into Ecuador, stretching eastward to Guyana and Suriname. Other species that one needs to be wary about include the Mugger crocoduile and the American crocodile. |
